I'm not sure if this is where this question goes, but sorry if its in the wrong spot. How much pp do you need to put down for a 7 day cruise? Can you put it all at once, or have to add it everyday? Also, what you don't use, you can get back at the end of the trip? Thanks everyone!!

Ive read all kinds of answers on this one. Some say they put as little as five hundred and then added more when they needed it. Others say they did as little as 300. Others have said they were made to put large deposits on and ofcourse on NCLs site it says they want one. The Best answer I saw, said that a woman bought onboard credit before she got on the cruise and when asked to start an account said she already had. She did end up using all her money and adding more, but it was the best way to avoid the discussion with the reps and or have to use a cc. She said just be mindful of your balance (not that they wont tell you you are out anyway) and put more if you need to. Its also been said they give you a check before you get off if you paid cash. I also read another way is to give them a cc and then pay your bill in cash before you get off to avoid charges. Hope this helps!
