LadyLuck Posted March 28, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2011 Hi Everyone, We're thinking about booking the Rhapsody next Apr for the Hawaii to Vancouver repositioning cruise since the Radiance is sold out. Since we'll have a baby with us, we most likely won't be able to go up to deck in the middle of the night for the Mt Kilauea viewing. Can someone please recommend which side of the ship should we book our cabin to be if we're booking balcony? Is balcony worth the price for the Hawaii cruise? I've never been to Hawaii before and have not sailed RCI. Don't really know what to expect. Just lookng for a relaxing vacation with my husband, my 5-year-old daughter, and 10-month baby. Thank you for any advice.
LadyLuck Posted March 30, 2011 Author #2 Share Posted March 30, 2011 Would like to put our deposit down soon. I'm getting pretty worried that this is going to sell out like the Radiance. Can someone help? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for any advice. The cruise itself, as you know, has mostly sea days. If you are spending most of your time in your cabin, take a balcony so that you have some outside view. If, however, your child is OK for you all to go "upstairs" during day, you will have lots of extra space available. As for the volcano, if it's erupting into the sea, the Captain will spend time "rotating" the ship.. If you are "stuck" in a balcony room for that experience, it will really not matter which side you are on.. Sand P .
