Officials said the boy was airlifted from the Port Canaveral based Carnival Dream at about 11:30 p.m. The ship was about 30 nautical miles northwest of Puerto Rico when the captain reported the incident. The boy, who is a U.S. citizen, was rushed to the Medical Center Hospital in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. His condition was not known early Wednesday morning. My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family! I certainly hope he recovers quickly and it is nothing major!

carsastic Posted March 30, 2011 #4 Share Posted March 30, 2011 sorry to hear that, thoughts for him and his family. You know I think medical stuff happens all the time.. on our last 3 cruises each one had people taken off either by air or by the USCG. On the dream last august we had two people taken off the ship and one poor fellow a couple rooms down from me died in his room.. Its either they happen often or I'm not the guy you want on your cruise!
