NAUdebo Posted March 30, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 30, 2011 Leaving on the Magic 5/22, and hoping to enjoy some Cubans on the ship that I'll pick up in Barcelona... I can't seem to find the answer on here... does anyone know if there will be a cigar bar on the Magic? Do they have one on the Dream, and anyone know what it's like? It sounds like the different classes of Carnival ships have different policies regarding cigar smoking - can you smoke on your balcony? Before I get flamed, I don't smoke them if there's others on the balconies next to me that may be bothered by it. I like my cigars, but I'm considerate of the people around me who don't appreciate it. Hence why I'm hoping there's a dedicated cigar bar for like-minded folks! *Mach* Posted March 30, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 30, 2011 Nope... no cigar bar on either the Dream or the Magic. I wish there was one, too... :(
NAUdebo Posted March 30, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted March 30, 2011 Wow, that's unfortunate. And on the ship that avid cigar fan John Heald will be CD'ing during the Europe sailings!
*Mach* Posted March 30, 2011 #4 Share Posted March 30, 2011 Wow, that's unfortunate. And on the ship that avid cigar fan John Heald will be CD'ing during the Europe sailings! Yep... John has lamented this as well... :(
bguppies Posted March 30, 2011 #5 Share Posted March 30, 2011 Nope... no cigar bar on either the Dream or the Magic. I wish there was one, too... :( Thanks for that bit of news... I can tell my wife to quit thinking about a Dream Eastern Caribbean cruise. Did not want to cruise a Conquest or Dream class ship anyway. This clinches it though. MDavis23 Posted May 1, 2011 #6 Share Posted May 1, 2011 Checking for DH. He will be bummed. We were on the Slendor in March and he used the cigar more than a few times. NAUdebo, DH is as couteous as you. He asked the neighbors next to us if they minded if he smoked a cigar anytime. He never did, but he asked.
