what are some of the differences between mariner and explorer?

Recommended Posts

Mariner has both Portofino and Chops where Explorer only has Portofino. Mariner has Vintages, and Ben and Jerry's. Both are Voyager class ships, but the Mariner is a newer ship and some changes were made to the original designs.

Here's a detailed comparison of the 1st and 2nd generation of Voyager Class Ships: http://www.voyager-class.com/design/facts/facts.html
A lot of interesting facts. What I didn't see listed was the variation in cabin sizes - some are bigger and some are smaller between the two ships. EX Prominades are 167 sq.ft while MR are 153; EX D1 balconies are 180 sq.Ft while MR are 199; etc.
