jetsettingcat Posted April 5, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2011 My sister, neice and 2 great neices are travelling on the Dream this coming month. We have a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah (4C category) on the 7th floor. We are assured there is room for the 5 of us - does anyone have a picture of what the room looks like with the bed, couch and upper berth showing? Many thanks! thejoker Posted April 5, 2011 #4 Share Posted April 5, 2011 Don't have picture to show, but we were on 8th floor (cat 4B) in same type room, the rooms are very nice, approx 50 sq feet larger (299 vs 246 sq ft) than the regular family oceanview rooms with verandah. Room was set up with a queen bed, sofa that converted into single bed, bunk bed above the sofa and then a single murphy bed that pulled down along the sliding door to the verandah. Curtain can be drawn between the queen bed and the other beds. When the curtains are drawn along the sliding door to the verandah it is "pitch dark" even during the day. Woods61 Posted April 5, 2011 #5 Share Posted April 5, 2011 Check to be certain that your stateroom has the murphy bed. We had the same level stateroom as you and there was space for the murphy bed but it was not there. We were expecting to have the extra bed. Our cabin steward said that some rooms in our category have the murphy bed and some do not.

Thanks so much Joker - exactly the info I was looking for. If someone out there has a picture of this room configuration w/ the beds all down, would love to see it. Thank you all for your responses (sadly all ears website didn't a pic of this). Best regards,
barbeaujo Posted April 5, 2011 #7 Share Posted April 5, 2011 Hope this help. You can see above from couch the uper bed that comes down at night. Also, next to the patio door, is the murphy bed that can also be slide down at night, for a 5th person. It is my 2nd time posting pictures, hope it will work, :o http://s623.photobucket.com/albums/tt312/barbeaujo/dream%20stateroom%204/
