Booking Excursions

I have a few questions about excursions. On the Carnival site there is an excursion that I'm interested, but when I log on to my specific cruise that excursion does not appear. Will I be able to book that activity online prior to my cruise?

 

One other question, when you select an excursion online, do you pay for it when you book it or do you pay once you are on the ship?

When you book an excursion online, you pay at the time of booking.

There may be a conflict that that particular excursion and your cruise... starts too late... wrong day of the week... whatever...

When you book online you pay for the excursion then. Should the excursion cancel for any reason you'll be immediately refunded that money to your Sail & Sign account.

Thank you both for your very quick responses. I'll keep checking but hopefully I'll be able to book the excursion that my kids want. It is still very far away.
