mom22tinks Posted April 6, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2011 When I went on my honeymoon (okay twice) Carnival put us with other honeymooners. We had dinner with atleast 3 other couples. Now that we are married with kids (we are a family of 4) Carnival and in fact Disney too puts us at a table alone. I enjoy eating and meeting other families. I was just wondering if Carnival does this with everyone now, or if its just us?? lol And if not, can I request we be seated with another family? We have early seating. Jennfor5 Posted April 6, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2011 As far as I know tables seat up to 8, so yes that would mean it would be possible.
*Mach* Posted April 6, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2011 Tables seat as many as 10 but there are very few of them. Upon embarkation you can visit with the Maitre d' and ask that you be seated with others. Most likely, he or she will be able to grant your request. You can find the time and location in the Fun Times available at Guest Service or the lobby bar when you board. :)
patseacruiser Posted April 6, 2011 #4 Share Posted April 6, 2011 When you book they will usually as if you prefer a large or small table. Tell them you want a large table.

I posted a similar response to another thread yesterday and several folks informed me that Carnival no longer asks table preferences.
tlcs Posted April 6, 2011 #6 Share Posted April 6, 2011 We just got off the Glory 2 weeks ago and had YTD. they asked us every night if we would like to sit with others. We sat at tables for 4 and for 6.
