srohl Posted April 7, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2011 My husband and I had a wonderful cruise on the Legend last week. Here's a quick review... The bad... 1. The cruise ended, and I had to return to reality!! 2. I shouldn't have eaten all day before dining at The Golden Fleece Steak House. I couldn't finish a part of my wonderful cheese cake! 3. Sometimes the Serenity Deck was really crowded. 4. I forgot to pack pony tail holders. 5. My sunglasses broke! The good... 1. Everything! We had wonderful service. The crew was pleasant and happy. 2. The Serenity Deck is beautiful and quiet. We spent all of our time there. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. 3. We were able to see 4 different comedians and Dana Tison's gravity defying act. 4. The boat is beautiful and clean. 5. I could go on and on, but I should head to bed! Real quick.... Overheard funny comments.... On the serenity deck...Young adult female says, "I don't like the Serenity Deck. It is too quiet. Why can't they blast the music?" Second formal night...A man and his young son looking like they had just come from the pool (hair was still wet, in bathing suits, etc.) were stopped and told they couldn't enter the dining room. When told why the father stated, " How are we supposed to know it is formal night? Nobody told us!" The Carnival employee informed the man it was stated in the little carnival newsletter they leave in your room each night. Man says, " I didn't know we were supposed to read that." People amaze me! DaKarr Posted April 7, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2011 I would have sworn I read somewhere(like EVERYWHERE) that bathing suits were NEVER allowed in the dinning room. But who knows. :p
Disconnections Posted April 7, 2011 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2011 We were on the same sailing on the Legend 3/27 to 4/3. We also had a wonderful cruise. It's too bad you didn't join the roll call. We had a meet and greet on the first sea day and some other stuff...
