Quick Legend Review

Sailed out on 3/27 to Western Carribean

From now on will leave day before and stay in hotel, we boarded ship at 3:57 and sailed at 4:00. Our non-stop flight was changed to stop and change planes in Atlanta, then we were delayed on all flights. Our wheels touched down on the Tampa runway at 3:15 and found the best cab driver to get us to ship. Called the 800 carnival number and kept them on the line until we arrived-my first cruise as VIP and no one was checking in but me!!!! The embarkation crew gave us good news-we missed muster!!!!

The Legend is a very nice ship, easy to get around. The crew was nice, food on par. This was my 10th Carnival Cruise, but first with anytime dining. It did seem to be more rushed, in future I will go back to late seating, just my preference. I like to get to know my waiters, and you sometimes miss the entertainment from them if you eat in between times, love the "hot, hot, hot song"

Liked the comedy club. Saw a great act-juggler/comedian, he was very entertaining. Husband loves the singing and dancing shows, these were typical for cruise. Good Welcome Back party-love free drinks. Casino took my money. Serenity was always crowded, went out at 7:30am and all seats taken or saved, but still found chairs elsewhere on ship. The Fun Farewell party on last sea day was not attended by many-we were there, I don't think people realize they get free drinks!!

I had been to all ports, but new to my husband. Had a lot of fun, did alot of beaches on our own, and other places. Stuck with Carnival for cave-tubing in Belize, and just hung at Mahogany Beach as we wanted extra day to just relax. Next time, will definitely get out into Rotaan. Typical Cozumel, found a great hotel that let us use beach access and their pool with swim up bar. Walked to Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman-love it!

I love to cruise, so it was great for me. Husband also loves the people and just loves to get away. Took a "newbie" couple, not sure they will be future cruisers, he had to take meds to prevent motion sickness and was in bed early every night-I on the other hand, never felt the boat move. Good thing because I do not want to give up cruising.

I'm just sad it is over. Envy to those of you still waiting

Thanks for the recent review! We are also sailing Legend in 15 days-- this is our first Spirit class ship, 7 day itinerary, and balcony-- SO EXCITED!

There is always that build-up before the cruise and then the letdown once it is over-- only thing to do is start planning the next cruise!
