Terrence Richards Posted April 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2011 Hi, my wife and I are interested in booking the 8 day Bahama cruise from New York City in May of 2012. We are interested in a Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Navigator's Balcony. We are considering staterooms either on the portside or starboard side of the ship somewhere just forward of the aft/rear elevator/stairway on Deck Seven. Has anyone had a stateroom in this area of the ship? Are the staterooms in this area of the ship free of any noises or vibrations from the ship's pods/props? We are interested in either Staterooms # 7096, #7098 (portside) or # 7596, #7598 (starboard). They are all in Category 5B for 2012. Thanks for any assistance and advice you may offer us. mom x4,grandma x4 Posted April 10, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 10, 2011 This link will take you to room reports by people who have stayed in them. I'm sure you'll find help there with all the rooms your curious about. http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/cruise-new/roomlist.cfm Kathy
AJI2596 Posted April 10, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 10, 2011 We are on that sailing and on Deck 7. Our TA said this is a great deck to be on because it is fairly quite. And on either end is quite.
atinkerbellmom Posted April 10, 2011 #4 Share Posted April 10, 2011 What are the chances. We just got off the ship and was in 7596. It was wonderful. We had NO problems. It was very quiet, perfect location and without any mechanical problems. Even the bathrroms were perfect and the closest door did not have any sliding issues. We have stayed on deck 8, deck 7 and deck 6 multiple times and this was our second favorite room of all times... It is a standard verandah and not a Navigators. We would be happy to stay there again. I guess I never did a stateroom report, and should.:)

What is the difference between the Navigator's Verandah and a Standard Verandah? Thank you so much for your input. I plan to call my AAA travel counselor tomorrow and book.
