Horseback riding...how rough?

Looking at the horseback riding excursion at Bacab. Finding it difficult to figure out how back jarring this excursion might be since there is a disclaimer for any possible back injury on the majority of the excursions offered (including snorkeling!!) Completely understand that the tours have to cover themselves in case of legal problems. However, for those who have taken this excursion, can you tell me whether your experience was a calm 'walk' through the jungle or galloping/sprinting? Thanks for your help!

i did this excursion. we had a great time. i have never been on a horse. i wouldnt say it was "jarring" at all. they pair you up with a horse based on your riding history. i would recommend this excursion to anyone. wear your bathing suit or pack it because when you come back they serve you a delicious lunch and there is a nice pool to enjoy. have fun!
