Sorry if this is a silly question but I'm a little confused. When booking the car on the thrifty website (for Maui), is the pick-up the location that I should select Kahului Airport?

 

In Oahu we are staying at the Outrigger Reef on the Beach which is $30 parking per night, is there another nearby place to park for a lower fee?

Yes to the airport location. As far as parking in Oahu, good luck. Very little available. Be thankful the hotel has it available. We paid $27 @ our hotel & it was worth it (btw I'm a tightwad but you do what you gotta do).

It all depends on where on Maui you stop. If Kahalui, then you are OK, but, if at Lahaina, it is at least 45 minutes to the airport car rental center, and a whopping cab fare. You would be better off renting at the West Maui airport location (airport code JHM)
