Here is the review..

First I would like to say that the wedding turned out beautiful and I would not trade it for anything. The Baltimore port takes a while to clear customs so we were told to just arrive before 12. The coordinator from A Wedding for You told me that one of the brides prior to me ran late and that was a problem so I made sure I was early. I remember reading that some brides allow their wedding party to also get ready in their rooms, but since baltimore is known for a late start I was worried about that so I had everyone come already dressed except me and my new husband:).

This was a good move. We arrived before the officiant and the wedding coordinators. I had a guest count total of 96 so I had two wedding coordinators. The first one arrived around 11:15 but she was wondering where the other wedding coordinator and the officiant was. They all arrived around 11:45. The ship was running behind and we didn't get to go through customs to get onboard until around 12:20. I had a wedding start time of 1:30 so it left me with less than 1 hour to get ready. It felt reallly rushed. My guest did not have time to explore the ship they had to be escorted right to Taj Mahal for the ceremony. I also want to remind everyone to make sure you have a copy of your guest list. My guest list that the ship had was missing at least 4 people and one of them was my aunt who was number 4 on my originial list. I brought my list with me which helped and it made a smooth transition once she matched my list and added the people who was missing. It did cause a lot of back and forth because everytime someone came who was not on her list she had to run back and find me to compare it to my list. Even though that happen everyone got on without a problem.

Back to the wedding. The coordinator came to my room to get me and at this point I had not heard from the videographer or the photographer - this could be due to the ship clearing late. The photographer called just as I was getting ready to put my veil on and he came up for a couple of shots. I never heard from the videographer until after the reception. At this time he told me that he would get our pre and post interviews later in the week.

The wedding ceremony was nice because the Taj Mahal is so big I wish there was more organization as far as having people sit in one area but people were sitting in different areas throughout which caused alot of empty space. The one disappointment about the ceremony was once the coordinator got me and brought me to the place I would wait until the ceremony begin my soon to be husband came down the stairs about 2 minutes later and I felt like he saw me before the wedding so I was really sad but his groomsmen convinced me that they hid his face. I wish the coordinators would of did a better job at the timing of me waiting and him coming down from his room to the ceremony. WE basically ran right into each other before the ceremony begin. Everything else went well.

The reception was nice I just wish I had 1 1/2 hour reception instead of 1 hour. The Baltimore port only allows the 1 hour. There was plenty of food and drinks to go around. The D.J. was o.k. but he shut down right at the one hour mark. My photographer reminded me that I did not throw my garter so I wanted music for that but he shut down so my new husband decided to announce it and we did it anyway without music or a D.J. The videographer and photographer still caught pictures and video so that was good.

Even though some of the things above happen it was still a very good experience and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I just think it's nice to share the pros and cons so other brides do not run into the same problem.

Good Luck to everyone!

I am getting married on the Pride 9/2/12 in the Taj Mahal as well since I cant have the piano bar. (they said it was too small for my group of 65)

Where did you enter the Taj Mahal at? Did you get married on the stage?

I just got to see your pictures!! I love them!! I esp love the one with the tail!! Im glad the club looks the way it does in the background. When I sailed the Pride last year and say the torso's in the club I was dreading if I have to have my reception there and couldnt imagine torso's in the background of my wedding pictures. You cant even tell they are in there!!
