Its not free.

They do have an iron and ironing board you can use for free. But the washers and dryers do cost. I am not sure but I think its around $2 each for the washer and dryer. Soap is sold in a vending machine in the laundry room. Each box does one load, fabric softener sheets coem 2 to a box.

 

Its been such along time since i used them but I think it was $1.25 a box. I think its Purex makes a flat sheet that you can buy for washing clothes.

Walmart sells them individually which is great. They lay flat in luggage, cost less than the stuff on board too. I think Target sells them too.

 

The machines will take your room card and charge it to your account.

I think the laundry is almost midship. Not too far from themid ship elevators. Not sure if it was port or starboard but there are signs in the hallway where you get off the elevator to point you the right direction.
