SassyGirl Posted April 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2011 Hi Everyone We're sailing on the Celebrity Summit to Bermuda in May and are looking for some recommendations for great places to have lunch. We'll be visiting differernt parts of the island - definitely St. George's, possibly Hamilton and some other areas...we haven't finalized our plans yet. Loud "drunk American" touristy places would not appeal to us. We'd like casual, relaxed places that serve real Bermudian food and won't break the bank. Thanks in advance for any recommendations! Pomperaugrr Posted April 12, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2011 The Pickled Onion on Front Street is a nice location. Their Bermuda Fish Chowder is out of this world. Be sure to get a shot of Black Seal Rum and a dash of sherry pepper sauce in the fish chowder. That is an authentic Bermudian dish! Honestly, you will not find any "loud, drunk american touristy" places on the island. Bermuda is quite refined and enjoyable. Eric
