Silhouette from Cape Liberty?

How convenient is Cape Liberty from New York City.

Help this West Coast guy with a general idea about Cape Liberty port. How long does it take to get there from NYC and is there mass transit to the port?

WE booked a cruise on the Silhouette I spent alot of time on the east coast departure boards and got so much great information.

 

We will fly into Newark and have booked a hotel that will pick us up from Newark and transport us to the hotel and the next day to the port. check out the thread and you will find all your answers.

Cape Liberty is about 20 minutes from EWR (Newark). I'm not sure about mass transit from NYC but from what I remember, you can take the PATH train and make a connection in Jersey City. However, if you're flying in, I'd go to Newark rather than JFK or La Guardia.
