Little Rascal Posted April 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2011 This is my first European cruise and was wondering are the charges on the ship in Euros or dollars? We are looking forward to our first cruise on Oceania on the 26th of April on the Marina from Rome to Venice. :)

TKS Posted April 14, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2011 The majority of the passengers on O are from the U.S., second Canada, then many other countries. When you check in, O swipes your credit card, and issues you a ship card. That is what you present to pay for your purchases. Therefore, you are charged in U.S. dollars on your credit card, or if you choose you can pay cash the morning you leave the ship.
