cave tubing in belize without pre-booking?

I wanted to do the cave tubing with .com, but am not 100% sure that my group will want to do the tubing when we get into the port that day. Do the big companies (.com, .bz) have people at the ports that you can negotiate with to join their tours?

We just went to Belize on the Liberty at the end of March. We used NCQ adventures. Nacho and Cynthia were awesome. I bet they could be flexible if you explain your situation. They dont take any money in advance and just ask that you keep them posted as to any changes in your party. They met us right outside the port and had everything prearranged. Our tubes were fantastic and we even did the ziplining too. Plus we had a great lunch. They seem to know how to get ahead of all of the lines and make the tour "un-belizeable!" We saw others waiting in line but we never waited at all. If you just go to the park without a prearranged guide you will have to wait. It was one of the best excursions we have ever done. If we ever go back to Belize we will use NCQ Adventures again.:mad:

When we were in Belize we used Major Tom with cave-tubbing(dot)net and yes he met us right at the port and yes they did have people that joined our tour that day. Even with those extras our tour was still less crowded and less expensive then the ship sponsored tours.

 

Major Tom and his guides including his son Minor Tom were awesome.

We cant wait to go back to Belize and do some more tubbing!!
