Anyone ever been on a Waiting list for Princess?

We are trying to get my brother and his wife on our Cruise on March 30th through the western Carribean on the Dawn Princess. We decided to do this as a 50th wedding anniversary. We called the travel agent today and they are on a waiting list and are number 9. Has anyone had good luck being on a waitlist with Princess? Any suggestions would be helpful as we really want to do this for them. Thanks!!

We were on a wait list for a coastal cruise one time. I believe we were something like 93 and by the time the cruise took place we were at 7 or 8 not

good enough to get to take the cruise but I was surprised the number worked down as far as it did. It could be due to a very special price, people booked without first checking to see if they could get the time off from work.
