cruisin'sz Posted April 16, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2011 We will be kayaking Bio Bay at 8:30 pm - should we wear bathing suits (will we get wet) or shorts/t shirts? How chilly (if at all) does it get out on the water at night?
rainforestgirl Posted April 16, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 16, 2011 I usually wear shorts/Tshirt. You will be sitting in the kayak that has water in it, so a bathing suit bottom (or other quick drying shorts or underwear) would be great. Your top won't get too wet (just drops from the oars). If the wind is blowing, it can get chilly after the trip/on the drive home. Bring a towel.

My advice it to take a sweatshirt with you and leave it on the bus. I froze on the way back to port because we were wet and the bus driver had the A/C on. I had a towel and covered up with it, but it didn't help that much :)
