No. Some of the lectures are shown later but definitely not all. They do not advertise which will be shown later, so you have no way of knowing. They also show some of the lectures from previous sailings. Of course, ALL the shopping lectures, port lectures, cruise director morning shows, etc. are shown over and over!!

The morning show features the cruise director giving information about activities for that day. If you will be in port, he gives suggestions for that port. He also highlights other activities planned for that day. Usually, he will interview someone from the ship's staff. It is shown live at 6 AM and then repeated continuiously until noon. We usually turned it on as we were dressing for the day.

Don't forget to visit the bridge. You cannot actually go into the bridge, but you can go to the the bridge viewing area. Very detailed instructions are given in the Daily Programme about finding this area. We found it fascinating.

You are going to have a wonderful cruise! You are wise to learn as much as you can before you sail.

Yes, what are the 'must do' things ?

We have learned from these boards that we should do afternoon tea, must visit the planetarium and sit in the middle, book for Todd English, walk a lot around the ship to try and keep able to eat the wonderful food, visit the bridge, be on deck for arrival in New York.

Do they run tours of the ship into the 'behind the scenes' areas ?

Please tell all as we don't want to miss a thing on our 16 Apr crossing.

There was a good thread a couple of months ago on this very topic. If I were more computer literate I could put in a link. Maybe someone else will do that. The thread was called "What's Not To Be Missed on the QM2?" It was started by Chuck & Phyllis. Do a search on the Cunard forum and you will find it.
