hammer52 Posted April 20, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2011 All cruise lines use some kind of number and letter system to their price structure. Usually the only difference in cabin catagories are the location and decks of the cabin. Regular inside cabins are the same size and layout and some will hold more than 2 people, that will also affect the price catagory. The cheapest inside catagory on RCL is Q catagory, they are in the very front and back of the decks.
tropicbird Posted April 20, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 20, 2011 Letters closer to "A" tend to be more expensive and letters closer to "Z" tend to be less expensive. Cabins that are in "more desirable locations" like amidships, higher decks, etc. tend to be more expensive, and thus a "higher" category.
