Drunken Green Monkeys and Beach?

It would be interesting to know which show she was watching and on exactly which channel. Green Monkeys are in the wild, mainly. There are people who take the babies and keep them as pets. This would be the only way they would get any kind of alcohol (one would assume).

It's likely someone has one as a pet and fed them beer.. and thinks that it makes good TV (or bad depending on how you look at it.

On a Beach.. not sure that you would find them much on the beach in the wild, unless it's on a more seculuded spot than the regularly visited beaches.

Well it really could be just about any beach. People do leave half consumed drinks on beachs as well as other places on the island (not just the locals, tourists as well) and fermented sugar cane wouldn't surprise me at all, since sugar cane is our main export industry and it's all over the island.

Don't assume that people are doing this to monkeys on purpose. Green Monkeys run wild in Barbados, so it can happen. I'm sure some film maker decided it was a terrible thing and has misrepresented it on worldwide television.

Just a thought.. but what if your dog or cat could drink out of a cup of beer at your next party..
