Awesome review!! When I saw your name and started reading it, you sounded familiar. When you said you met your friends from St Louis for this cruise, I knew! I read your review from last year and thoroughly enjoyed it!! Thanks so much for posting your new review!!:D

Very nicely done, Mrs Blair. Like other posters, I remember your review from last year. Thanks for posting your wonderful photos. Can't wait for the next installment. You guys had a beautiful day at Royal Palms; the last time I was there it was cloudy and drizzling, but we still had a good time. Keep the review coming!

Hey Mrs. Blair! I loved your Miracle review, and I'm loving this one too......ESPECIALLY the food pictures. :p That serenity area looks fabulous. It's much bigger and nicer than the ones on the Fantasy class ships. I've been to Miami many times, but I've never seen a crowd as big as the one from your sailaway day. Good Lord that was a lot of people at the beach! Looking forward to reading more!

So I am reading your review with great excitement and I see the picture of your friends -Steve and Sherri - and I keep going back to the picture trying to figure out why they are so familiar. I see the post from them - Workin2cruise - and realize that Steve and Sherri were our tablemates when we were on the Victory in November 2007. And I knew for sure when I saw the food pictures and saw the assorted cheeses.....I remember Sherri use to order this for dessert. What a small world cruising can be!

Hi to Steve and Sherri from Heather & Ron (magic&buddy) in Toronto.

Hi Heather & Ron! I remember that cruise well! It is a very small world. Glad to see you're still cruising!

Oh man! That's a bummer! We had great weather all week - it couldn't have been better. Very lucky! You know, I think it may have even been our first cruise without any rain!

Hey you!! I'm glad you found the review!! Yes, Serenity was very nice. The one on the Paradise was small. This one spanned two decks and wrapped around - lots of room! It apparently was spring break for a lot of people, so that may be why the beach was so packed. :)

APRIL 13, 2011 – ISLA ROATAN, HONDURAS (12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.)

Today we slept in and had a late breakfast in the dining room. We booked the beach excursion through Carnival that included unlimited flying chair rides, two beach chairs, a clam shell and two floats for $30 a couple. Great deal. We had a phenomenal day here. We also ordered lunch from the restaurant / bar. It was nice arriving at noon. It gave us an opportunity to get a bit of rest and just mosey off the ship when we were ready. Last April we did the Jolly Roger Catamaran and Gumbalinda Park. That day, it was 99 degrees with 90% humidity. It was just miserable. So, this year, we wanted to just have a day at the beautiful beach and relax. I also learned last April that the roads in Roatan are crazy (cliffs, narrow, etc.) – I will never leave the port / beach area there again. Which is fine, because I absolutely love that beach. J

I'll have to remember in October to force-flash the dinner pictures in the dining room. These all look a little weird due to the lighting in the MDR. Oh well. Food porn is food porn. :p
