lara68 Posted April 27, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2011 We are sailing to Bermuda from Bayonne LIberty on June 5th. We plan to self-disembark in Bayonne. Does anyone know what time we'll be able to leave the ship? We need to arrange a car pick-up.
JanineM Posted April 27, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2011 There's no way to know exactly what time you'll be able to disembark. We've often been able to get off very early (like before 7 am), but other times it's been closer to 7:30 or 8:00, and once it was almost 9. It depends on when the ship arrives, how quickly the ship clears customs, and any other issues. Sorry can't be more precise, but this is why people are always cautious about booking their flight home >>> there are a lot of variables that we can't control. Irishwhiskey Posted April 27, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2011 We have always used a car service at the Bayonne port and while getting off the ship was not a real problem. But you'll have to be patient while trying to locate the car amongst the other 50 or so cars that are there at the same time We have the service call us to let us to let us know that they have arrived and then we will arrange a location for pickup usually a short walk away from the terminal for easier access. We usually have the service wait away from the pier and then call them back to tell let them know that we have disembarked
