carnival wow sale

I was wondering if carnival has a wow sale like the one royal caribbean does. I never heard of it from carnival so I was wondering if the do something similar, thanks

Agreed - it seems like Carnival fares are pretty reasonable in general, but they don't really have any huge sales.

They have had a lot of "72 hour" sales the past few months. I find that during the so-called sale, the price of my category either stays the same or goes up a little. During these "sales" they also promote free upgrades but I've seen this when there wasn't a sale going on.

So basically, I haven't seen any huge price swings and I've been checking prices from over a year out until now (cruise leaves in 18 days). I wouldn't wait around for a huge price drop to book.

I recall reading about some sort of 12 days of Christmas sale in past years but I've never seen it myself. When does RCCL have their sale and how do you find out about it?

I think they stopped the "12 days of Christmas sale" this past Dec. I do not recall it happening.

RCCL is having their WOW sale today and tomorrow. Half-price down payments and OBC depending on the length of cruise. Not combinable with balcony discounts or Savings Certificates. Go over to the Royal board and you can find out more info on the rules, etc.

The 72 hour sale, even with the $100.00 on board credits was more than the early saver rate, so not a sale in my opinion.

yes the 72hour sale, I keep seeing more and more of them.
