Cruise to see CHICHEN ITZA

Almost all the cruise lines (ships) that go to the Caribbean will stop at either Cozumel (an Island) or Cancun. You can get to "Chichen" from either of those posts, while it is actually very near Cancun. If a cruise ships at either of these ports - they will definitely have a shore excursion to "Chichen".

You will love it.

From Cancun or Coz it will be an all day trip via bus, for example it is 3 hours one way from Coz and 2 hours 15 from Cancun. Carnival's tour lasts 7 hours, so your time at the ruins is limited and there is alot to see.

Tours Cozumel offers a flight tour, taking a total of 5 hours, but gives you more time at the ruins than the bus tour.

Worth it, but do some planning before you decide.
