Advice for a cruise virgin.

They have signs posted everywhere, absolutely no visits to the bridge.

 

However, there is a hallway with plexiglass where you can pass through and watch on the 12th deck.

 

It looks just like what air traffic controllers use.

I assume your comments refer to QM2? On QE2, i) there is no 12 Deck, ii) there is nowhere to view the Bridge.

On my last QE2 cruise in May 03 they offered a tour of the bridge on a port day. Was last aboard for a transatlantic in Dec 04, no port days so no bridge tour offered. Have never seen a kitchen tour offered.
