Summit refurbishment?

After a recent cruise on the Summit I can make a few comments;

The public areas are all very nice, someone is always polishing or cleaning so they present a very nice image. Our room (8149) was only fair. It needs:

new beds,

carpet was dirty and worn,

it come with a real 90's era tube TV,

the shower is bad and if it was my "house" it would be gutted,

the veranda deck is - well, not very inviting. Think of a shingled roof, thats the deck, and all the little "pebbles" are wearing off and it looks terrible. the glass partitions have black marks from the chairs from rubbing that a simple wipe would fix. the wood railing needed re-varnishing. it was basically dirty and univiting. needs a huge power washing to start with.

hopefully all that will be fixed with the remodel.

everything else was good, the food, the shows (well, not the comedian)the staff all friendly and helpful.

My 2 bits.

Jim
