will773 Posted May 11, 2011 #2 Share Posted May 11, 2011 Try asking this in the Cayman Islands board area: http://cruiseforums.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=147 People from all cruise lines post there and will be able to perhaps give more information. SRBx2 Posted May 11, 2011 #3 Share Posted May 11, 2011 I'm confused. Isn't this the Cayman Islands forum? Even when I click the link will773 provided, it shows this question at the top! If so, I would also be interested in Horseback riding if anyone offers it. TIA.
horsefeathers75 Posted May 13, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted May 13, 2011 I know RCCL offers this as an excursion, that is why I went to that board to ask about it but for some reason my question was moved here. Like you, TIA, I am looking for information but apparantly we are the only ones interested. Interesting, I will be on the RCCL Freedom of the Seas while you are on the Norwegian Dawn. TurtleTagger Posted May 13, 2011 #5 Share Posted May 13, 2011 Here are links for Trip Advisor reviews of the three stables on Grand Cayman I am aware of: Pampered Ponies Coral Stone Stables Spirit of the West
SRBx2 Posted May 13, 2011 #6 Share Posted May 13, 2011 Thanks Turtle Tagger for the links! I'll check them out. .... and horsefeathers, I would much rather be on your boat, but I have a NCL cruise credit to use up. I hope you enjoy Freedom OTS. The Mariner OTS is my FAVE ship, and I haven't had the pleasure of the newer class RCI ships as of yet! Can't wait til I get MY turn! Happy Cruising! firestix Posted July 12, 2011 #7 Share Posted July 12, 2011 Spirit of the West looks great ... but $90 for 1.5 hrs.? Is this a good deal? Is the experience that good? I dont mind paying for quality, I just want to make sure that it's worth it.
bobmal99 Posted July 15, 2011 #8 Share Posted July 15, 2011 Here are a couple of links from local vendors. I used Island Marketing this past February for a 2 & 1/2 hour Jet Ski & Snorkling Tour. One of the best tours ever. They were very good, I would/will use them again. Much smaller groups.. https://www.caymanislandssubmarines.com/ Although is says Roatan excursions, it has excursions throughout the WC.. Check them out.. http://roatancruiseexcursions.com/IslandMarketingLtd.html
