STR1PES Posted March 15, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2005 My wife and I are planning on going on a 7 day cruise leaving April 9th or 10th The Triumph and the Valor are the ships that are going to the places we want to go. (St Thomas, and St Marten) Both are the same price for basically the same cabin. For those that have been on one or the other Which would you choose? PS, also is royal caribbean also a fun ship or is it more for older crowds (I'm 24, my wife is 25) Thanks :)
KimNLyssCruisin Posted March 15, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2005 Given your ages...I vote for the Valor. I have sailed on Carnival many times. You would enjoy the Valor though because it is a new, larger ship..with a few more things for you to do. Have Fun!
ShanB42 Posted March 15, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2005 My husband and I (both 27) are going on the Valor in May and have also been on the Triumph and RCCL. ALL ARE GREAT! I personally LOVE the Voyager class ships of RCCL. SO MUCH to do!
judyf Posted March 16, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 16, 2005 Between the two I vote Valor only due to it's newer. But I've read great things about the sprit class ships too.
chris623 Posted March 16, 2005 #5 Share Posted March 16, 2005 I was on the Glory last year (same class and at the time Carnivals newest ship) and I liked it enough to chose the Valor out of all the carnival ships. 22 bars and lounges, talk about many many places to drink. JrMafia90 Posted March 16, 2005 #6 Share Posted March 16, 2005 I would go with the Valor. It is much newer and a larger ship.
