How flexible are the independent operators if your port days are switched?

 

I enjoy booking with independent tour operators and will continue to do so, as long as I am sure we'll be back to the ship on time.

How flexible are the independent operators if your port days are switched?

 

That has only happened to us once -- on the upcoming Zuiderdam cruise.

When we were notified in Feb. of the switch with Tortola St. Thomas, I e-mailed the tour operator. Within a day he replied and told me he had made the necessary change.

 

I'm not saying that would happen on every independent tour, but it did for us.

I would guess that the closer to the sail date, the more difficult it is to make a change.
