5kitty Posted May 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2011 After reading another post in regards to the AE Mini Suite category, I am a little confused about the bathroom and the bed arrangement. If you have stayed in an AE Mini Suite category on the Crown Princess, can you please verify if the bathroom does have a tub with shower and that the beds can be made up into a Queen size. We have an AE booked (yes it is a guarantee) for a fall cruise and if there is no tub or just twin beds, we may have to consider looking into upgrading to another category. The Princess web site does state there is a tub and queen size bed. Thanks so much.
Toto2Kansas Posted May 14, 2011 #2 Share Posted May 14, 2011 The AE mini suites on the Crown are totally different then on the older ships like the Sapphire, Grand, etc. On the Crown they are all the way forward and do have a tub and beds that will configure to a queen. The older ships, the AE's were originally designed for handicapped mini suites, but they made the door too small to accomodate a wheelchair, so they had to be recategorized because of this. Amtrack Springfield Posted May 16, 2011 #5 Share Posted May 16, 2011 We had a AE Guarantee on the Crown in January. I think there are only two AE cabins on the Dophin deck. We were upgraded to AD category D-301 and D-303. We saved a couple of bucks with the guarantee. We looved thes cabins with tub and queen bed.
