Dis-embarkation

Recommended Posts

Please can anyone explain the dis-embarkation process? Can we keep our luggage and just walk off the ship as soon as the ship is cleared (we will be on IOS from Sothampton), or do you get an allotted time. We want to get off ASAP to start heading home after we dock. Trying to work out what time to book the coach home for. We dock at 6am. Thanks

Having sailed in IOS from Southampton 3 times now, we have always done self disembarkation! It means that you keep your luggage with you - no putting it outside your door on the last night of the cruise and we've always headed off around 6.45 am - 7.00 am. Sometimes there are lift issues as you can't get in with your case so be prepared to give the stairs a go however if you leave as soon as you can, it shouldn't be an issue.
