Dog sledding in Skagway

I'm trying to decide which dog sledding (summer camp) excursion will be best for my family. We have 3 kids (17,12, and 9) and we are looking at an excursion that includes the Yukon & White Pass train and then dog sledding or a shorter trip with 4X4 and dog sledding in Dyea. We have done the train from Vancouver to Whittier in the past. Will the train ride be too boring for the kids? Has anyone done the dog sledding in Dyea? :confused:
