Just wondering if anyone could tell me how much this costs, how long it takes, and how hard it is to get a taxi back to the cruise ship tender area?

Thanks in advance for any help!!!

When we were in Grand Caymen last spring, we had thought about a taxi to Rum Point. When we got off the ship and asked about it, we were quoted a fare of almost $100 US each way. We changed our minds and went to 7 mile beach.

I have been reading up on rum point too, it sounds great. I think the best way to get there is by ferry. You need to meet the ferry at the Hyatt Regency Canal. It is a 30-40 minute ride. I'm not sure how far that is from the pier nor do I know how much it costs.

let me know if you find out anymore info!

I am thinking we will do the Nativeways, 3 stop, snorkel tour, with lunch and beach time at Rum Point. That will only be $55, and they will meet us..no cabs. Sounds like the best idea for us.
