klmorg Posted February 28, 2012 #101 Share Posted February 28, 2012 From my research I found that any maginification over 10 will need a tripod and is not recommended for hand use. Well that's not going to happen, LOL. Thanks for the reply, anyone else???
DRPWDunIL Posted February 29, 2012 #102 Share Posted February 29, 2012 I tried out my Nikon Trailblazer 10x42's the other day. Well...I was shocked at how well they worked. I put them up to my eyes and I had clear vision of an object and was able to read the writing on it--but I was confused because I knew what type of object it was and didn't know that there was one in my field of vision from where I was standing. It turned out that what I was looking at was at least 4 miles away (I know this factually) and I could see it clear as day. When I put the binoculars down, I simply saw a speck in the distance. I was really impressed and was very happy with my purchase. Can't wait for our trip!
