Hi,

I just wanted to thank you all for all your tips before we sailed. The cruise was amazing. Of course, it is all that you make of it and your outlook. We traveled with small children.

I won't go into a full review because there are so many already, but if you have any questions I will be happy to answer them. I will quickly touch on a few things:

1. Embarkation - easy and quick

2. Cabin - got in at 1:00pm; yes, it's small but I'm not living there. Bathrooms are a little odd in terms of there is no privacy but it is what it is and we knew that going in.

3. Nick and Kids stuff: was awesome. My kids used the kids club probably 3-4 times -- they preferred to hang on the slides and pool. The kids club was used for babysitting at night. My son (5) did complain that he didn't want to go but we didn't leave him for long. We were ALL - including me - in the pool side Nick show and my husband and son were in the one in the theatre. Nick breakfast was blah tbh. I read on here just to go to the meet and greet and I should have done that. Kids had a fantastic time and ate enough french fries to last the year!

4. We ate at Le Bistro - it was my absolute favorite on the Sky, but the food fell short on the Epic . Maybe the memory is better than the reality (as if often the case). My husband ordered the seafood soup which he said was "ok" but was extremely disappointed when he saw it served in the GC the following day.

5. Cirque and Blue Man - both excellent. The dinner in Cirque was excellent.

6. MDR - the best night they served a thai peanut tofu noodle dish that was to die for and my DH had the beef stroganoff. Both excellent.

7. Casino - was tight. The smoke is barely noticeable

8. Beer/Martini tastings: did both. The beer tasting was free and you get tons of beer. The martini tasting was yummmy and well worth the money. We shared!

9. No one was using the Freestyle Deck when we peeked. :o

10. Disembarkation: We ate a lesiurely breakfast and then left.

Overall, we had an amazing time. The ship is very nice but in my opinion could use a woman's touch - it's missing ambiance and a little finesse and fine tuning. But, overall was a great vacay!
