Todd English - tipping?

The service in Todd English is as good as any we have had in any restaurant or or on any cruise. The wait staff do not get the extra $30 meal charge and the meal is worth every penny. We tipped $20 on the $60 bill. That may be a little high but the wait staff deserved every penny. Dean and Carol

Did you add the tip to the bill? I found out on the QM2 last week that any tip added to the bill gets pooled. The only way that the person who "you" want to receive the tip is for you to hand them the money. So any tip added to the bill isn't going to do anyone much good.

So is it possible to request that tips be removed from your onboard account and then just give our envelopes individually. Is that what you did, or are suggesting, or do you just mean in Todd English -- where we'd probably just tip in cash anyway. Thanks! You're a wealth of information!
