Family inside on Star/ with a 2 year old

Has anyone had experience with the "family inside" cabin on the NCL Star? I noticed it and was wondering if it would be a little roomier then a reg inside? My son and daughter will be joining us next year on a cruise( we are getting a different room- a mini suite). They can not afford a suite but afraid the inside will be cramped with the crib set up. Any suggestions or comments are appreciated. We have a few months to plan this out! I will ask NCL when we call but love this board for pre homework! :o

Thanks to all

Here is a link to a thread I started a few months ago. People had some good ideas. I'm trying to avoid using a crib or pack and play because of the amount of space they take up. If not using a crib or p&p is an option here are some good alternative ideas.
