post cruise bus from vancouver to whistler

after finishing cruise in Vancouver...we took bus to whistler and stayed at Fairmont...it was a beautiful bus ride...

Another way to travel between Vancouver and Whistler is by train on the Rocky Mountaineer (here's the link). It's pricey but wonderful.

 

We did this little trip in 2009, before the Olympics.

But it's still a bus. ;) To me, the method of travel is as important as the destination. With cruising, I would settle for a less wonderful itinerary to get a great ship.

 

BTW, the Amtrak Cascades train from Vancouver to Seattle is also a wonderful trip, and it costs only $30. The bus from Vancouver isn't quite as luxurious, and it costs $56.
