Is Marigot within walking distance of pier?

We are going to be on Oasis and are wondering if we can walk to the French side for restaurants and shopping.

 

If not, any idea if cabs are easily available once we get there and need to get back to the ship and the estimated cost?

It is too far to walk from the pier to Marigot. You will be able to easily find a taxi at the pier area that will take you there. It is about a 20 minute or so taxi ride and the cost each way is $18 for 1-2 people, $8pp for 3-5 people and $7pp for 6-14 people. If you don't see a taxi where you are in Marigot there are taxis by the waterfront area by the Ferry to Anguilla.

What about Le Grande Marche supermarket? We are planning on going there after our trip to Marigot. Is that on the way back or within walking distance of the pier?

 

Is a bus easy to take to Marigot?
