Seattle Princess cruises

I am doing a back to back on the Golden (think pier 91). What is there to do that is close by for a few hours (with a teen)...and not with public transportation (bus/train). How much is a cab ride to local toursity things?

If they're into pop music, or science fiction...Experience Music Project/SciFi Museum

The Underground Tour at Pioneer Square, if they like history (spiced with some mild scandal and tell-alls about our founders and their foibles)

The Museum of Flight, if they're at all into aircraft and aerospace technology

And of course, there's always downtown shopping--Westlake Center, the Nordstrom flagship store, Macy's etc.

Your cab fare is going to vary, of course, depending on which you choose--all the tourist sites aren't right together.

its a real short cab ride to Space Needle about $10-15. Go up the Needle or got to EMP (music museum) Kurt Cobain and Nirvana is current exhibit. From there its easy to take monorail downtown to Pike Place Mkt. That would easily kill a few hrs.
