majorette76 Posted June 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2011 Has anyone sailed on the Epic in cabin 10184? If so, can you give me some insight on the room size, location and view from balcony? Thank you much! Also, anyone sailing on the Epic from Barcelona on Sept. 25, 2011?
sdmike Posted June 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2011 There is lots of information on mini-suites (aka deluxe balcony) rooms on on this site, including pictures. They are the same width as a standard balcony room but a few feet longer and with a bigger shower. Based on your room layout with the bed by the balcony, I would say you also have a bathtub in your room. Your balcony is standard size and will have two sitting chairs and a small table about the size of a laptop. The lifeboats hang on the side of the ship at deck 7. At deck 10 your view will not be significantly disrupted, especially since there are no life boats directly under your room at midship.
quercus alba Posted June 12, 2011 #3 Share Posted June 12, 2011 Here's a view of our balcony on 13, which was essentially the same size, shape, & layout as yours (though you're on the "bumpout", and we were just ahead of it).
majorette76 Posted June 13, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted June 13, 2011 Thank you both for the info and the pictures. It sounds as if we selected a good cabin.
