JenPett Posted June 13, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2011 I just booked dinner in the Glory Steakhouse for my husband and I during our cruise. Is it worth the extra $$? Also, can you leave your children in Camp Carnival during the dinner time? (I don't know if there is some stipulation that you must feed your child before they enter the camp?) Thanks! suezducruz Posted June 13, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2011 Yes, because the service and setting is very exclusive...but be ready to eat! The shrimp in the cocktail are much larger, the onion soup is twice as much as in the dining room, the beef servings are enormous, and the desserts are fabulous! The presentation is incredible. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniverary there. My husband had a dozen red roses waiting for me and the staff couldn't have done any more to make it special. Camp Carnival often has camp dinners depending on the age of your children, or the steakhouse dining times should be flexible enough to accomodate your needs. Do it and enjoy! Don't forget CC has late night babysitting for an great price....used to be $6 per hour. Enjoy!
