mslobodinsky Posted June 13, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2011 I will be cruising to Bermuda next Sunday, and wanted to know the details of the car rental process. Thanks a lot, Margaret.
ozark74 Posted June 13, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2011 There are no car rentals in Bermuda. You can rent a scooter(moped), taxi, or bus. The only people allowed to have cars are locals.
SailBadtheSinner Posted June 13, 2011 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2011 If you want to do a tour of the island, you could hire a taxi with the driver acting as tour guide and see a lot of the island. The rate is $40.00/hour, minimum of 3 hours for 1 to 4 passengers. You can either tell the driver what you want to see or let the driver show you his Bermuda. There is an active thread that has comments and contact info for the drivers used - http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1198339 SBtS
