Allure Formal Nights

Can one of the people who recently cruised on Allure let me know what was the prevailing dress code on formal nights? I am a bigger guy and my sport coat/suit coat takes up a ton of space in my bag for one night. How out of place will I be if I have on dress slacks, shirt and tie, but no jacket?

 

I have read varying reviews - some say that most people don't dress up anymore and some say they won't let you in without coat - can anyone give some advice on this?

I have DH, 2 son's (25 and 22) they will be dressing the same for formal night. :)

I rented a tux. You could do the same and it will be waiting for you in your room. I find it disrespectful that people cannot follow the suggest dress attire for the evening.
