MRGSV Posted March 19, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2005 Has anyone done the Sail & Snorkel excursion at St. Kitts? I checked the destination board and couldn't find anything, so I guess it's pretty new. Thanks.
greeneg Posted March 19, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2005 We did it last year off of the Zenith. The catamaran ride was a lot of fun both ways. Unfortuneatly there was a fair amount of reef damage form one of the hurricanes and the coral was pretty well chewed up which limited the fish although there were fish where we were. This was in February of 2004 so might be better now. Overall enjoyed the excursion. St. Kitts, BTW, is the place to pick up some rum. Brinely Gold is about $15/ a bottle there and it's almost twice that in the States, if you can find it. Yummy with pineapple juice....
DeltaOne Posted March 19, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2005 Do they still offer the Fan-Ta-Sea snorkeling excursion? We did it two years ago and it was great! Short sail to the snorkeling area, then almost an hour to snorkel. Next a short ride to a sandy beach. Eat lunch, explore the beach, maybe swim a bit. Then the ride back to the ship. Lots of rum punch and music on the way back...a great time!
