FSQ3004 Posted March 19, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2005 Is going north or south on the Inside Passage better and which side of the ship is better?
cruisingfreak Posted March 19, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2005 I've read from these boards, that if you are doing Southbound, get a port cabin. Northbound, Starboard cabin. Minette

BaumD Posted April 21, 2005 #6 Share Posted April 21, 2005 An inside passage trip goes roundtrip from Vancouver or Seattle, so the starboard side gets the better view the first few days and the port side tha last few days.
DisneyDestroyer Posted April 21, 2005 #7 Share Posted April 21, 2005 The northbound and southbound ships also go through the insie passage, but only one way. I believe that's what you're asking about, right? CruisingFreak (to nobody's surprise) guessed what you really wanted to know and answered it. :)
Cruisin' Chick Posted April 22, 2005 #8 Share Posted April 22, 2005 "An inside passage trip goes roundtrip from Vancouver or Seattle" That's what I think is considered the "Inside Passage" cruise. The lines have terms for the one-ways but you'll have to check their websites for their terminology. It seems the RT's always seem to go through the passage northwardly and then cruise off the coast going back to the original port.
